The festival is held at Wahroonga Park, Coonanbarra Road, Wahroonga NSW.
Is entry free?
Yes. Entry is free for all ages.
Do I need to buy a tasting package?
Wine tasting is optional. If you would like to participate in tastings, you can purchase a tasting package which includes a festival tumbler and tasting tickets.
Tasting packages can be:
Pre-purchased online for priority pick-up
Purchased on the day from the centrally located Tasting Ticket Marquee (packages start from $39.50)
What will be at the festival?
The festival will feature:
30 premium NSW wineries (sparkling, red, white and rosé)
10 boutique distillers and 1 craft brewer
Gourmet international food vendors
Artisan producers and market stalls
Live music throughout the day on the rotunda stage
Is the festival family friendly?
Yes. Sparkling Wahroonga is a relaxed, family-friendly community event welcoming visitors of all ages.
Please note this is a fully licensed event. Minors must be accompanied by, and remain in the presence of, a responsible adult at all times.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
Do I need ID to drink alcohol?
Yes. If you are tasting or purchasing alcohol, you must provide valid identification confirming you are over 18 years of age.
This is a fully licensed event and BYO alcohol is not permitted. Alcohol is available via tastings and by-the-glass service. Take-home bottle sales are permitted, however take-home alcohol must not be consumed onsite.
How do I get there?
Wahroonga Park is easily accessible by public transport (a short walk from Wahroonga Station) or by car (street parking available). If you live nearby, we encourage walking or riding your bike.
What happens if it rains?
The festival will proceed rain or shine. Please dress for the weather and keep an eye on official event updates for any changes.
Will there be water available?
Yes. A free water refill station will be available near the rotunda stage, so bring your refillable water bottle. All stallholders serving alcohol will also provide free water.
Are there vegetarian and vegan options?
Yes. Vegetarian and vegan food options will be available.
Will there be security and first aid onsite?
Yes. Security, first aid and a professional event management team will be onsite to support visitors and ensure a safe event experience.
